We are seeking a dynamic Event Sales professional to join our team. As the Event Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving our event sales and business development efforts, connecting with clients, supplier and venue partners. All sales leads are pre-qualified inbound leads, and approx. 60% are return clients. In fact, we have many clients who have been with us for over 10 years, so creating new and exciting experienced for them is one of our biggest challenges!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the MD to develop and execute a more comprehensive event sales strategy, with a strong emphasis on improving sales opportunities and conversion.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the corporate, HR and MICE sectors, and collaborate with our BDM to nurture potential opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and organisations to drive event bookings.
  • Create personalised event proposals and packages tailored to meet client needs, from daily inbound web and phone enquiries.
  • Collaborate with our events team to ensure the seamless execution of events.
  • Manage Pipedrive CRM/sales flow to its full potential

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event sales, business development, or related roles within the events industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, coupled with an amazing phone manner.
  • A creative thinker with a knack for crafting unique event experiences.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
  • A passion for the training and event industry.
  • Strong efficiency with CRM software (Pipedrive)
