Our Executive Programs are unique to any other team building activity as they challenge all participants to move from knowing what could be done, to achieving effective team relationships and linking this to what can be done.

What’s Involved?

Your event will be specific to you and your requirements, but here’s a taste of what you can expect … 

Your team will arrive to find a row of canoes, hydration packs, army knives, helmets and life vests; or maps, GPS and backpacks. Teams could be kayaking down rapids one day and hiking through rainforests or sledding down snowdrifts the next. Whatever they do, they’ll be learning key survival skills in remote areas of Australia and New Zealand with our team of ex-military survival specialists to guide and support them.

After an intense group of activities, your team will de-brief and unwind around the campfire, speaking with experts in communication. This event will teach your team empathy for others in a team and is a great way to get people who work well at their chosen tasks, to have a deeper understanding of how others work.

XL Locations

Our preferred remote locations around Australia and New Zealand provide the perfect venues to achieve team alignment and forward team planning.
All venues are 4 ½ to 5 star private executive retreats within 120 minutes drive of capital cities. Stay in finely appointed resort cabins.  Set amidst in idyllic settings, they are the perfect location for brainstorming, reflection and problem solving. The venues provide an ‘outdoor’ experience without sacrificing the comforts of hot showers and comfortable beds.

XL Program

Executive Adventure is a focused program that looks closely at promoting team behaviors, which build trust. Challenges are faced utilising the strengths of the individuals to achieve defined outcomes.

Utilising the unique resources and countryside offered in our preferred locations, teams are given defined roles and tasks outside of ‘normal’ team building activities. These activities promote team synergy to effectively deal with high expectations, deadlines, challenges, managing change and dealing with the unexpected.

Changing behavior is facilitated using customised strategies to develop quality relationships by 

• Developing and maintaining trust
• Preventing and dealing with conflict
• Giving effective feedback
• Valuing others in achieving goals.

Each person identifies his or her personal ‘speed bumps’ that often hinder effective communication.  Most are forced to make a commitment to change as more often than not it will have a positive effect on the rest of the team’s performance (immediately and in the future) thus creating win/win scenarios.
